There is still time allocated to discuss the Manuge case, which I'm assuming is to talk about the CPI issue.

I did some researching and confirmed that the link between the two cases is this is the RCMP Long Term Disability Class Action.
McInnes Cooper initiated the Class Action on June 6, 2008 on behalf of A. Gerard ("Gerry") Boute and all other disabled veterans whose RCMP Long Term Disability Benefits are reduced by the amount of the monthly Department of Veterans Affairs Pensions received under the Pension Act. Unfortunately, Mr. Boute passed away in 2009 however David White, a former Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) constable is the new representative plaintiff the class action lawsuit.

Attached is a letter on behalf of both parties requesting hearing dates. An oral direction was issued on November 21, 2013 scheduling a case management telephone conference for December 12, 2013 at 9:30 EST. These are the latest documents, but there should be an abstract of hearing entered after the teleconference tomorrow setting out the purpose of the CMC and any outcome.
