PIA, TPI and SISIP

Basically it states that anything that is NOT EMPLOYMENT income is not deducted. As per the designation PIA is an "allowance" so not deductible from LTD.

Just a reminder, and I always forget about it too, TPI is the "designation" to access PIA.

Con grats MommyB, IM not fast enough to respond like you where told 100% YOURS and the good thing its for life not age 65 like LTD, so you do not have to report it to anyone, you will get a t4 each year. Here the good thing about being demed TPI, should Manulife start playing games with your monthly LTD payments,YOU are now in the event they say they wont cover you anymore, you AUTOMATICALLY go on ELB, it will say that in your letter, so you have now have been secured either way, so take a deep breath if ltd decideds to stop you then go on elb dollar for dollar so you wont loose a thing. What you have done has now secured your future, and now in the drivers seat for once. RUCKSACK 031 OVER BUT NEVER OUT.

I just called SISIP and the lady said NO it's all mine,
SISIP doesn't offset it !!!!

I have a call into her. Just takes FOREVER to get a call back
I have looked at VAC and SISIPs sites and can't find anything
about having a $ for $ deduction for PIA or TPI.

Call you VAC Case Manager now! It is better to ask the source now instead of paying them back down the road.

I have just gotten approval from VAC for PIA and TPI
DO I have to notify SISIP?
Does this now get deducted from my monies from SISIP??
