We can thank the Veteran Affairs Minister, we can thank the people of Canada,
But PM Harper had to say "fix it" He is the boss
Why Now Stephen?
It likely because there is:
A fall Election,
Dead Soldiers,
Suicides,
1000 + injured vets,
Declining interest in military service enrolment,
Repeated embarrassment to the government,
Low moral at Vet Affairs
And the persistence of these people and the groups they support :
Stakeholder Participants:
Ron Cundell, Veterans Voice
Ray Kokkonen, CPVA
Michel Guay, OVO
Steven Clark, RCL
Ray McInnis, RCL
Scott Ferris, RCL
Bruce Poulin, RCL
Earle Eastman, CAV
Michael Blais, CVA
Don Leonardo, Veterans Canada
Deanna Fimrite, ANAVETS
Kim Davis, Caregivers Brigade
Michel Houle, Veterans-UN NATO
Tim Laidler, Veterans Transition Network
Joseph Waugh, RCL BC/Yukon Command
Brian Forbes, NCVA/War Amps
Debbie Lowther, VETS
Joseph Burke, Canadian Aboriginal Veterans
Mark Gaillard, RCMPVA
Bill ? (surname unintelligible - with group from Vancouver)
Thanks to you all
