Mine says Manufacturers life insurance company in the address portion. But from my monthly statements I added up income tax deducted and total payments and they added up to my total ltd so it's correct. I'm wondering because it was a Cola amount we received would it be a T4A or a T5 because wasn't it interest income also?

That's early Navrat...I would contact them to see if they are going to send you another one for the COLA ..I was thinking it would all be linked to one.

Got my T4A from sisip ltd but it only was for ltd no cola amount so I guess I wait for another one!

Still a couple of Weeks away but thought I would give the first date received last year that was reported by one of our members of the Forum from Ontario...23 Feb 2015.

So we will see how the timing pans out for this year..got mine here in NB last year on the 24 Feb 2015.

thanks Trooper. Seem like the same can of worms as the initial payment. But you have to be a lawyer or an account to figure it out.... I will contact Manulife to see if they are sending one... Cheers

snmavcom...I believe your talking about claiming for past years instead of claiming it all in the one year.

Regardless if your able or not...you would still have to initially claim in all for the one year...then you would follow or submit with your taxes a T1198.

It would be Manulife who would be responsible for sending you the T1198...there are certain aspects of rather you would qualify for a T1198 ....I will post the link here for you to read;

the other question is can it be coverage for each year that it was for, instead of claiming it for the year that it was received.
