Being an old signaller, about 5 years ago my left ear overnight died completely. VA accepted my PLEA and recognized their responsibility. In the meantime, I have developed vertigo and keep falling. I have been hospitalized twice due to injuries caused by these falls. VA decided that since I have a pension for hearing, I cannot have one for vertigo. For the last 4 years they have had me run after doctors to fill their ungodly forms. Not once but twice. Specialist in Joliette do not complete reports. They are completed by the family doctor. To make a long story short, VA told my doctor that she did not know what she was talking about. VA made me redo all the reports. One of these reports has almost 15 pages. When I showed it to the Specialist he threw it in his garbage can and said VA was crazy. I had to pick up the report from the garbage can and walk out. I have since, contacted the VA law firm who sent my demand to the VRB. So far I have had absolutely no information from VA, Lawyers or the VRB. I know that they are very busy, but even our Ombudsman has done zero after I sent a complaint.

I have a feeling, that 81 years old vet don't amount to much. If everyone keep putting my papers to the bottom shelf, they won't have to worry about me.
