Sad that the governments best response is to have our VAC accounts state that the process is more likely to take 30 plus weeks and they just need to inform us of that and then we will all be happy. Great response.

I have no clue who is working on my reassessment, still no word. I guess I will call VAC and find out I just hate calling them. Now it seems the Liberal Government is going to be increasing all wait times to be more "realistic" which IMO means they can take even longer.

Contact the press and your MP. People need to know about the exceptionally long wait times for reassessments. Maybe VAC hopes we die first.

I have contacted my CM with no luck, they have all the docs, it has been on stage 3 for about 5 months now.

My PTSD reassessment was filed AUg 4 2017 and it still is not finished (on stage 3). I also put in for a few other new claims at the same time but all of them are only on stage 2.

Seems like everyone is having long wait times. My tinnitus reassessment was pretty fast tho, took about 3 months from application to getting my award.

However my hearing loss one took 8 months.
Iím hoping my PTSD reassessment wonít take that long. Alot of people say reassessments are generally quicker.

How does the rating work to determine your percentage? Iíve looked at the table on the site, I had no idea about that until a month or so ago. It has multiples tables with several symptoms, it also has a quality of life table as well. Does anyone know exactly how they determine it? For example, if they find you at 40% for PTSD, do they add a QOL percentage on there as well? What is the fifths for? Like 1/5,2/5...etc. Thanks for your help

currently working a 25 week decision time frame for CIA: any other insurance comp would be out of businesses with time frame like that. No end to that stupidity.
When is the next stakeholders mtg, so we can be told that he is listening?

I started a departmental review of my PTSD decision, through the BPA, on May 16, 2018 and, to date, have heard nothing. †In fact, my VAC Account went from step 3 to more information required and has stayed that way since about June 6th. †Neither I, nor the BPA, has received a request for more info. †I spoke with the BPA, and they said not to worry about it. †I really can't complain because I submitted my first application for PSTD on December 17, 2017 and was approved at 36% on February 13, 2018. †My rehab program and ELB were both approved on April 1, 2018. †My assessment should have been 57% so that is why the departmental review. †My CM applied for Career Impact Allowance on April 1, 2018 as well, but that application is hung up in the VAC backlog. †My CM says they are currently working a 25 week decision timeframe for CIA.

Just wanted to share this.

VAC will determine your level of disability based on the reassessment.

My social worker is mailing me my reassessment and Iím gonna send a copy to VAC. Iím doing this because the person who is managing my reassessment is on vacation until August 20, and I had the reassessment over a month ago but she didnít send it in before vacation. So that being said I figure it will get there faster if I do it myself.
A question I have is does the reassessment state how much of a percentage disability I am at? Iíve never seen any of my paperwork before so Iím just wondering. Thanks
