Re: New MVA coming with Cabinet Shuffle
I wouldn't blame her for being upset. She has been thrown under the bus, right before the department pulls of their biggest bait and switch scheme, in probably decades. During the election, they promised to reinstate the life long pension, NOT introduce a new type of pension, that is a mere shadow of what was offered before 2006, and even that will be greatly reduced for any veteran who has been disabled during the last 13 years. But I bet one of the parties, will make a campaign promise, that if they win, they will stop any clawbacks to the PFL, and increase the maximum benefit. I mean the PFL is so low, that they could double it, and still save money, over simply reinstating the PA pensions.

Re: New MVA coming with Cabinet Shuffle
Go figure, They will swap out the minister, just before April, so that when people start complaining and demanding that changes be made to the PFL, the new MVA, can simply say that he(or she) will need to learn their new file, before looking into any possible improvements to the PFL. And by that time, they will be getting ready for the next election.
Then they can make campaign promises, like increasing the PFL, additional amounts to the PFL, for dependants, or other improvements, if they get reelected.

Yup, about fucking time the little weasel is gone.
A Nova Scotia backbencher -- speculation centres on Sean Fraser or Bernadette Jordan -- would likely take over Veterans Affairs, as well as fill Brison's role as that province's cabinet representative.
The choice to replace him can’t be any worse when they decided to give a former TV personality the position of MVA.
