Re: JUST DID A COUNT
12 losses, this was the beginning of refusing 'denied or low-ball claims'.
lucky '13' wins, this included restarting the whole process over again four times on two separate wounds. Use of drawing media attention to having my legs amputated helped.
In the end, I received what was justified from both VAC and SISIP. Personally, I have no complaints now that the fighting is done. Generally though, there was no need for the constant boarding and debates (fights...I threw the meeting table against the wall...it just happened). No wounded vet should have to go through with this nonsense.
Note: VAC came back, without my prompting, and offered me a supplemental financial pkg for my hip as it has worsened due to my knees. However, with my new pain killers I told them that I was fine, but left the door open in case the hip does worsen due my knees.

One of my favourables was a Superior Court ruling that ordered VAC to re-visit their decision which they for some unkown reason saw should have been a favourable decision. Guess hindsight being 20/20 worked for me, lol.
Good for you
