Damages often go hand in hand whit reccongnition of responsability. The point No1 in my law suit was no responsability no excuses. Wy GoC is so hell bent on this I bo not know. Is it because of the money or is it not to set precident? I know firts nation got it, gut now they are suing the GoC. again!!! It's complicated, but mostly people that the money that is given and go home or spend the next XXX years in court. I had to shews and took the money went home and licked my wounds. I do not think it will happen on the class law suit..

Hello all , I thought i would take a break , but the break didn't last very long, I have got used to posting and reading CSAT and find it hard to break free. I was very disappointed the last few days both personal and this lawsuit. I have just been diagnosised with Parkinson's and I and family were distraught . I am still a young man and I hope to have many more drinks at the Hamilton Legion, haha, What made me so pissed off was the GOC and the law firm both know how sick and disabled a great many of us are but they continue to have this gag orders, release very little information which gives rise to so many rumours, and also my talk with the law firm. Many of you know my situation with regards to retro, I am owed 276000 which I thought would be the perfect nest egg for my wife when and if I pass from this disease . But when they told me that I would be lucky to clear 60 percent , so I lose 120000 , it was a hard pill to suffer. Yes I know I should be happy with what I get but everyone situation is different, I just can't believe that the GOC and the law firm knowing that we are in this situation would not have covered legal fees or tried harder to negioate them. Also if any case screamed damages it was this one, its a shame that the GOC would not entertain that. So this is my opinion and I respect everyone else's on here, so you can disagree and that is fine, this is my personal situation and in my world this is how I see it, thanks

Hello everyone, I have decided to return to CSAT after some thought as Sparrow again. I would hope Navrat would return as well because the house is empty without him. I decided to return because of a comment by georges dumont whereby he said in response to someone suggesting Teen shut down the forum and he said NO this is his family and he needs us in his life. It hit me in my heart and I would not want to see this forum shut down nor do I want to see bullies intimate and belittle my fellow vets into submission and fear. If I left with one thing intact on my departure from the military, it would be my integrity and self perserverance. So please Navrat and others, return and let's have some conversations and some laughter. I miss it.
