We have heard that medical cannabis is effective in the treatment of this disease. But, he has undergone a drug addiction treatment ( http://edgewoodhealthnetwork.com/locations/bellwood/programs/drug-and-alcohol-program/ ) from Toronto earlier when he was addicted to marijuana. So, I am confused whether it is safe for him to use cannabis at this stage. What do you guys think? Is it safe to use medical cannabis after undergoing a treatment for drug addiction? Please give some genuine replies and suggestions.

Niroz,

Sorry to hear about your dad.

Regarding your question as to whether it's safe to use medical cannabis after treatment for addiction or in any other circumstance is not a question that can be answered here. This type of question needs to be answered or addressed by medical professions.

With that said, members are free to respond with any experience they may have had concerning the question, but it is in no way a direction or advice that can be used to influence the answer to your question.
