So the veterans currently receiving CIAS will not lose it after 1april 2019?

CIAS is being deleted bit if you have DEC and under 20 years service you will get a 1% increase to salary until you would have hit 20 years. CIA is being replaced by the PSC but will be tax free that's why the rates have been lowered. But yes we are losing as those after April 1 will not get CIAS unless you already have it then it will be grandfathered.

Does anyone else see that they're taking the CIA and CIAS, changing the name of the CIAS and totally deleting and removing the CIA benefit and calling it the PSC lifetime pension. We're losing here people. We're losing the career impact allowance funds and it is becoming the lifetime pension yet they're removing the Career impact allowance to do this? What a f-in gaggle. How are they getting away with this and know one is saying anything? Unless I'm totally wrong here?
