well for some of us in life, Bronze is a big win, and for some who thought holding 4 Aces and a King was a gold medal. Will the Russian judge please stand up!

JointTaskForceEx, I understand your thoughts and respect them immensely. I like to think that everyday I wake up alive is Christmas morning. Anything else above and beyond that is ribbons and bows.

There is no surprises here this settlement is just as it is. A legal fee reduction is not happening and if it does it would be so little is would have little effect on the overall percentage losses the 99.9999% majority of disabled veteran will incur.
- .
Lawyers get RICH (65000000.00 Million dollars) as it always is.

THE VETERANS GETS KICKED IN THE FACE WITH A 60% REDUCTION

This battle was for the veterans and the only ones that looses When we Won is the disabled Vets.
With one exception Dennis Manuge if he gets his stipend he alone will be the only disabled veteran that gets his fair share! Damn right he deserves it too!

BUT so do the veterans with their broken minds and/or damaged bodies!

They get away with paying " No Damages " so , JUSTICE BARNES how about THE GOC paying the Legal Fees & put that 17.7% money back into :

How fxxxing depressing is this ????????????????

There is nothing to depress over this, In fact we won (the bronze) lets just remember that we won.... No Gold, No silver and no Bronze, we just won. That is the way to remember it.

When I read and re-read the full lawsuit, Damage has been identify as an optional course of action. For those who don’t understand this – revisit the original lawsuit section 5. What was asked as relief? We ask everything, all types of Damages, compensations etc… (Look at it).This was a big game and played by the pros at MC and today they are even more pros than they were yesterday.

From the start an Out of Court Settlement Was the Goal for MC. Let’s revisit everyone involved in this thing – MC, DOJ, US and the Honorable Judge Barnes and Denis (who represent us).

For MC: Everything changed with a partial lost from DOJ in Supreme Court – (the SCOC Re-instated the case as a class action) For MC, it was a big win. I will try to make it simple:
They have been handed 4 aces and King in there hand. (This was won by the excellent debate of Me Peter Driscoll - I.e. its on the web at the supreme court - The other lawyer was a ......whatever.....He did not have a good hand....)

For DOJ: They look at their risk analysis and concluded: Well the Supreme Court is very favorable to the veteran. If we go to Court again with this, it will end up to the SCOC again and not only we will lose, the SCOC will determine the following;

1. Set all reliefs;
2. Set the damages due to veterans;
3. set any others amounts outstanding.
5. Set legal fees at the full charge of GOC;
6. Set the interest to be paid to Veteran; (A Fair rate)
7. Include all punitive damage on tops of that.
8. Impose excuse letters to all veterans.

DOJ look at their Hand – (they have nothing. Further: The lawyer playing the game was a two of spade (Imagine)… So somebody, in the high in the Chain of command at DOJ, looks at this and said: We are in a deadlock situation.

They re-evaluated their Hand – (they had a couple of three and seven plus jack and two) and looked at the big picture: They came up with the following conclusion:

OPTION 1 – Keep bluffing: If we keep playing, we can lose again in Federal Court and if we appeal, it will end up in Supreme Court again and we will lose – If we lose well: We don’t know how much we will pay to those veterans if the SCOC rule in their favor (But it’s going to be big)

OPTION 2 – Drop the card: We cannot drop the card, we already have up to $750,000 in the put, fighting those veterans. If we drop, we are toasted for hundreds of millions anyway - we do not drop.

OPTION 3 – Stop the Game: We could say: we don’t play anymore, the rules are unfair, in fact, we set the rules. All we have, is a pair of 3, a 7, a jack and 2 of spade and we are losing - But we set the rules with the federal law. We don’t want to lose. Let’s stop playing and negotiate this mess – We never lose, when we set the rules. We are invincible.

For MC, OPTION 3 was the magic hand. Although they had 4 aces and a King, it was faster to share the put, get this over with, and get out of here. Playing the game would have lasted a couple of years more.

And for MC, they were kind of Happy, but a little bit intrigued…? how do we settle this big freaking put ?, ……

DOJ took the lead on this and Said: Well we will hired this guys, He is from B.C. He knows how the human right works and how to share a put like this !.

DOJ told this guys who is from B.C - Be Strong and remember the following:

1. You have been appointed to serve your country;
2. If you don’t feel like it: - Have an impression that you are serving your country;
3. Your own notoriety is the most important asset for us, so, use it;
4. If you’re incompetent, we don’t care - gets us out of this mess;
5. We will promote you senator in the years to come;
6. Will pay all your expenses and jet travel in first class ;
7. You’re the best ( don’t feel depreciated please, Get up, Cheer up)
8. No matter what you do, you will get a medal from the HEGG?

So they sent this B.C. specialist to settle in front of M.C.

P.S. The judge, which is highly impartial, works and is paid by GOC, He follow the law to the letter.

Going against the Federal Law is difficult. There is other Federal law to consider ex: Liability law but they don’t seems to count. For a judge, appointed and paid by the Federal, it is a just a bit touchy to rules out against your own employer and consider other law;
--------

MC, on the other end, had a good hand, their game is easier and getting easier everyday day. With 4 aces and a king, it feel really comfortable. But they don’t put there card on the table and claim victory, the chest it... and say:

- Well - There is a lot of money on the table....:

-Mr. Negotiator from B.C.: Your title is so official, your status so important, we don’t want to offend you, we don’t want to offend GOC and DOJ, (because they paid the big money), we don’t want you to lose the game, because we like you - And we don't want you to lose anything - Because there is a lot of money on the table....

-If fact, all we want to do, is to share this put…Fairly...finish this never ending game, as soon as possible, pick up our cash, and take good cognac, and go Home;

So they negotiate, and take cognac, and negociate and take cognac, and negociate…bla...bla..bla (with our life) and end up with the settlement we have.

Yes we won Denis.
We won a podium, let’s put this on the record –

Everyone had their own guys:
- DOJ they the guy from B.C. –
- M.C. They had Denis
- and us (The veteran) well we had the cause.

So in a traditional olympic winning game in Canada: here are the winners:

Gold medal: GOC and DOJ
Silver MEDAL: MC
Bronze medal: The veterans

So why write to the judge when the game is over ?......

Dear veterans
It’s just a Metaphor – I wanted to write, Get it out of my chest. Isn't it what happen ? I ask the question.

Cheers to all Bronze Winner - We won, Could have we won more maybe (Yes, a lot more), but we won. Thanks Denis, Thanks M.C.

Gee, we Had 4 aces and a King !
