Well Brother Steve, I did indeed receive your e-mails to add to my collection thanks, and I must say once again to the point and well articulated. To the rest of CSAT I have had a lot of time to read, and I still find it simply amazing that regardless what the Gov throws at us there you still are helping VETS. So we have a new minister,we be able looks like he is wasting no time in separating, or eliminating vet groups that have strong and valid points for the betterment of all, which only time will tell , just hope the ones they select are actual VETS and not ones trying to pretend to be one. Time will tell what direction the new minister will take, so for now I have to give the man a chance, and only time will tell. So only time shall tell whether this appointment change will actually change anything, or become just another tool, used by the gov , this pund is by no means any disrespect to the new Minister. It seems by many post ref the COLA saga, the sad part about is I wont be able to see Navrat chase those dam Purolator trucks, just hope I receive enough COLA refund so I can buy a 6 pack of pepsi. Its nice to see the same old vets still here, TEEN, SAP, RR, RECON, SPARROW, PROPAT,TROOPER, BIGREX and many others, so I will close for now and wish all of you the best. Rucksack031 over but never out.

That's why I have a lot of windows Robbie. You know what else helps? Friends like you and all the cast of CSAT!

Even though CSAT is not liked by many at Sword HQ in PEI I couldn't give a fiddler's fadoo! There is a bond here on CSAT that is sometimes more helpful then the whole damn system so everyone take Robbie's advice...get up or roll over to a window take a look outside and smile at what you made!!!

I know it has been awhile but things are moving everywhere and my battles continue. Sure I have come a long way, gone are the days when frustrating and heated words led to out the back and sort t out like ole boys. I have come to learn that you can’t fix stupid but HEY if your nice “Stupid” befriends you and voila more is accomplished via the “Mark and Record Method”. Yup today the pen is in fact mightier than the sword, just remember keep them bastards (your swords) sharp too lol.
So I had a buddy wanting to tell the world how life sucked and it was not worth living anymore. He went on about this pill that pill and this drink and that drink and how tough he was and finally how he was going to simple fall deeper into his drug infused life.
I told him before he fell deeper into this chronic albeit negative world to simply go over to his window, open the curtains and look outside. Smile and thumbs up and chuckle to your self and say, “I did that”. Now go to bed and remember that 20,000 other heroes are doing the same “Nightly Woe Dance”, it doesn’t hurt to thank your self for the freedom of others.
Long story short he is now in a better place because I guess he never realized how empowering freedom is and what is the price of freedom, being able to smile while looking out your window.
If your feeling like him it is ok but remind your self You have made a difference and that is more that most.
