The interest top ups are so small to begin with, and taking a cut of that is criminal. But it is what it is and we have zero influence to make any changes. What gets me the most is that the Judge and the lawyers feel that the interest top ups are great and wonderful. Yet the interest gained is very little and does not come close to covering all the deductions we are going to get hit with from CRA, legal fees...
Well there is one good thing we will get some money someday........maybe.

Thats hogwash, how can the law firm be entitle to a percentage that the government hasn't give as of yet. We can we get an exact answer

Does the law firm also get 8% of the 3 1/2% that we will be receiving from the government.
Or do they only get the 8 % from the retroactive. I hope they aren't getting anything from the interest that we will receive.
