Et al:

An abbreviated form of et alia, Latin for "and others." When affixed after the name of a person, et al. indicates that additional persons are acting in the same manner, such as several plaintiffs or grantors.

When et al. is used in a judgment against defendants, it means that the quoted words are applicable to all the defendants.

In my opinion that's not fully correct if he's stated that. That firm had a class action certified, but did the style of cause just say Denis's name on it and then the Latin term "et al" because if it did then you all are included. Did the statement of claim where style of clause say "et al"?

That is part of the problem, since it was only ever Dennis that signed any legal documentations, Peter has said on here that Dennis is his ONLY client, as I quote "In fact, we have no duty to communicate with anyone other than the representative plaintiff...". So regardless if they are getting paid millions of OUR money, we have no official client-lawyer relationship in the eyes of MC.

If you've paid into retaining legal counsel, they legally have to keep in close contact with the clients. Regardless if it's 3 people or 3500 people. When they were retained sometimes they think people don't know that they're governed by the "rules of professional conduct".
