Subcommittee on Veterans Affairs meeting today on new benefits
Its no wonder these committees are useless..............Interesting responses though from both committee members and VAC.
The subject matter of those elements contained in Division 2 of Part 4 of Bill C-15, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on March 22, 2016 and other measures

For those who have the time I strongly encourage you to watch the whole Video of the Subcommittee on Veterans Affairs.
Lots of info provided in the Video.
They discuss the Lifelong pension , and even BILL C7 for the RCMP.
Very informative.
One point that was made regarding the ELB top up to 90% , those who are at the minimum now as we all know they are going from basic corporal down to senior private , according to Faith VAC spokesperson those at the minimum will get the 15% top up but will only see a 5% increase to their salary.

lol yup we will bump it up to 90% after we reduce your income first . yup we already had that figured for sure .was kind of hoping they would change their minds since the people this effects are often the ones that need it most but I guess not .
