The Santa for Vets Program is going National this year and needs our help ...
If you are not familiar with this Program it started at 12 Wing Shearwater and Christmas gifts were donated and delivered to homeless vets, single vets and vets with families in need by volunteers from 12 Wing who delivered throughout Nova Scotia. This year MCpl Leslie K Blair is taking the program nation-wide and needs our help. If you know of a vet who could use a helping hand this Christmas please contact MCpl Blair at santa4nsvets@hotmail.com with a name and contact info preferably before 1 December so that gifts can be sent out via Canada Post in time for a Christmas delivery. MCpl Blair has a list of sponsors and coordinates ahead of time with the veteran so that there are no surprises or disappointments. A great program that is well received and now going nation-wide.
