Oddly enough, I had that happen to me as well, while I was still serving. My pay wasn't deposited, and when I went to the BOR, the clerk said their system said that I had passed away. So, the first thing I would be doing, is ensuring that the payments of any benefits were not affected. Then worry about holding people accountable.
