Re: Statute of limitations on disability claims
Hi Vet 1234, welcome. As far as I know there’s no time limit when you can do a claim. Hopefully you have some med docs, record to back it up. Once’s it in, Vac will send you the forms, and one of those will be a new dr,s report, that you’ll need. Get the dr, or better still specialist to be very detailed. Worst thing is to put it all in, then wait 2 yrs, and get it suspended as there’s not enough evidence. So be very detailed the first time, reports, accident write up, etc. Hope this helps...Johnny Out,,VVV

Statute of limitations on disability claims
I have a shoulder injury that has never healed properly. I was in a vehicle accident during an exercise in Petawawa. The vehicle flipped and I injured my shoulder. I have had issues with my shoulder and overcompensated with the other shoulder, now both are messed up. This was about 15 years ago. Should I make a claim? Is there a limit on time passed since initial injury?
