Re: Veteran's Homelessness
Sadly by Monday this 'urgent' problem will once again fade into the background until veterans week in November 2022 where it will be 'urgent' once again.
Ever notice veteran problems are a really good example of insanity? You know doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result but still getting the same end of the shit-stick!

Veteran's Homelessness
NOTICE: THIS TOPIC IS OF A SENSITIVE NATURE AND CONTAINS DISTURBING CONTENT.

Two news articles, both discussing Benjamin Van Eck, however what they talk about and how they discuss it are totally different.
It is sad and it bothers me that any vet goes through this and ends up this way. But I cannot believe how insensitive some government offices can be!
The 2nd article mentions "Before his death, Van Eck 'lost his pension' and was in desperate need of housing, but he didn’t know how to navigate the system."
HE LOST HIS PENSION!!!
Yet serial killer Russell Williams got to keep his pension (according to mcleans and Wikipedia) Something is definitely wrong with the system, and morals!
I tried to find the "latest." Wikipedia's article was last updated Oct 2021. I can't believe it!
