Rejecting the settlement, if he rejects it we are fucked, look at the RCMP , the GOC has said they are going to fight it tooth and nail, the same case, if he rejects it we lose

WE DESERVE DAMAGES AND JUCTISE BARNES KNOW IT WE WERE/ARE DAMAGED.REJECT THE DEAL ADD INTEREST AND COSTS - I WANT 200% INCREASE DUE TO AN ADDITIONAL AWARD! DO NOT ACCEPT LESS!
I want to register my opinion with you all. I think he is rejecting the settlement but if not the fees are so out of Wacko that he needs to be very careful with his wording. This case will set new guide lines for class action suit fees.
Any delay is a huge PLUS for Veterans more interest and a better Wiser decision from Good Old Uncle JB. Maybe cousin Peter Mackay and his other brother Peter Driscoll will include a few goodies too.
Did anyone think for a minute that Peter would go on vacation while this settlement was concluded? Come on folks i have got a piece of stupidity for sale if you did!
MC should get a call and be asked what their best guess considering this new information.

I would call but I am in Geneva until 23 March Auto Show.

I do not know Nav. The merits of the case are straight forward and as per Justice Barnes in Halifax, it is a yes or no decision with legal fees being the only variable as well as stipend for Dennis Manuge of which Justice Barnes already stated he would not likely change due to the size of the class action and the stipend amount already having been agreed upon by the class. All the negotiations have already been completed prior to the hearing with the exception of the CPI which we were told is minor and could be sorted out post decision. The only hold up must pertain to the legal fees simply.

Talk about a kick in the gut, I wonder why the judge said weeks not months!

I felt I needed to post this information as there are vulnerable people including myself, waiting and hoping each day for a decision which I am sorry to say is not here or close to being here yet. Stay strong.

The question I got s what is taking the judge so long, is there forces at play behind the scenes , something must be up, what possible items could take 3 weeks to decide on?

Thanks , Sparrow, glad to have you on the front lines, CSAT intel officer, I will give you a commission , lol, this is very bad news and to make us wait is not fair. That's why Peter went on vacation for a month out of the country he knew and the law firm should ave told us. There was rumours going around but I believe the one about the zero sums and easy ones getting their cheques in the summer s most likly true, just the time line alone puts us near summer, real bad news for so many that are depending on the extra funds

SPOKE TO THE FEDERAL COURT THIS MORNING - THE FILE IS STILL WITH THE JUDGE
I just got off the phone with the Federal Court in Halifax RE: T-463-07. According to Courts as per this morning, no decision has been renderd and the file is still with Honourable Justice Barnes presently. Furthermore, once a decision has been filed, it will take 4-6 weeks for translation. I am sorry to be the one to post this but felt it had to be posted.
