Yep and as a result, the firm has managed to have case stalled.... If these assholes,( who are now taking advantage of the situation) had asked for a reasonable rate, do you think the judge would have been pondering for the last month? hell will we hear anything this week? MC has turned a wonderful victory for vets into a all you can eat buffet on behalf of injured vets backs.

Firebird, that amount being asked is extremely high, I would guess that they had a much lower amount in what they expect to receive, so they jacked it up high end ,type thing , just like when you sell your car, you always start high with your price, and take what your bottom line is. Just don't know what there bottom line is, however I think the judge, will look after that for us.

There are practical people and impractical people , $66 million for one case involving 7500 people who did not hire the law firm , only one did , but have to join the law suit to get there money , is impractical especially when the lawyer had other cases during the time frame making even more millions so a practical person would not even ask anywhere near $66 million for lawyer fees. Nobody's work is worth anywhere near that amount. A descent person only needs enough money to pay the bills , feed , cloth the family and have a roof over there head anything else is greed and egotistical.
