Re: Was on LTD for 36 months,,,,
Thank you for the information so far, appreciated. There is a lot of good reading throughout this SISIP forum, WOW. Just last nite I sent an email to MC and received a reply that letters have been sent on 11 April by regular mail. I am going to wait this out next week and see if I get the letter.
I am sure they are inundated with calls and emails so I will wait it out.

Big Al call SISIP and the law firm to get your name on the list of clients.
Technically firebird there is one list...it has 7500 people on it. The April 15 Order from Justice Barnes identified 4 groups.
So read the order, the link is here on the SISIP link, and see which group you belong to.

Re: Was on LTD for 36 months,,,,
My understanding is that if you had been on SISIP LTD for those 36 months, then that is what you should be getting back! I believe that I would fall under something similar as it took me 32 months to complete the re-hab training/education. In talking to SISIP manager, I will likely be on the second list when it comes out.
As the other points/questions, Yes - write to MC and update everything as well as outline your particulars so they can provide advice if needed.
Best of luck!

Was on LTD for 36 months,,,,
Hi everyone, this is my little story, I was on LTD from 96-99, forked over $400 a month during that time. Was not healthy, fighting custody battle in court, had to quit school/ LTD because cause it was too tough with all the bull crap going on. I was going broke fast, credit card cut up, Family Maintenance on my back, and as a retired Sarge I was receiving about a privates wage. Now I am back in the working world, it's tough, but am keeping above water.
My question to people out there is as follows:
Will I get back my 36 months of lost VAC payments or only 24 months?, and
I was only contacted once two years ago, should I write to MC and update address?
Any help with that would be appreciated. I just surfed onto this site accidentally and would like to say that there are a lot of hurting folks out there and I hope they take care of you pronto!
