Re: Pay Rates
I believe that someone on LNVB FB page is supposed to have the rates for the past 30 years.

Re: Pay Rates
Unfortunately, DND removed all historical pay rates from their website earlier this month

Re: Pay Rates
Firebird, if you are receiving a Canadian forces pension, you can contact them, and they will give you the amount you made upon release.

Re: Pay Rates
I agree with rex, 75% of what you were making when you were medically released.

Re: Pay Rates
Actually, they pay 75% of your pre-release pay and if that includes specialist rates, then so be it, because those are the basic rates for specific MOC's. The only pre-release money they do not include in their calculations are things like Sea/Field Pay, or PLD, which are more dependent on your current posting and not part of the actual pay scale for your rake and trade.

Re: Pay Rates
I disagree because the difference between spec. pay and non spec. pay is a few thousand a year and SISIP's amount for my final year salary is around $1000 lower than what I think my spec. salary was and not a few thousand less. My specialist pay was used to calculate the average of my best five years salary to determine my pension. Therefore my pension amount is calculated from my spec. pay salary so the 75% that SISIP pays has to be calculated using my final year spec. pay salary.
