This Should be our Anthem

Our anthem should be a poppy void of colour with a black maple leaf as the centre piece, that alone would show the Canadian population that our sacrifice was more than just a couple of minutes for a lousy 20 year pension. It matters not what party you elect it matters more that even voting will not allow a voice you have to stand taller than that silent vote you must be visible and united for the rights of all veterans. Yes Rex, I agree, I am not a Harper fan, but what bothers me is what party to vote for come election time, not a whole lot to choose from, who will best serve the Veteran community ? We will leave that for another time.

Surprising as it may sound, but I found this gem of wisdom buried in a heavy metal song from a band called Disturbed. The song is called Deify, and was written about George W, but applies to Harper just as well.
