Re: I need help!!! ASAP
I guess I was lucky that my CPPD and DTC went through the first time. Like it has been said before wording is very important. My shrink has that shit down pat. When I met with the accountant and explained to him that I had 4 federal gov't agencies involved in this quagmire of bureaucratic red tape he just shook his head acknowledging this was a typical scenario of the right hand and the left hand not being capable off pulling off a circle jerk let alone communicate.

Re: I need help!!! ASAP
my take this is fracked .
herd of this happening once and it was resolved shortly after that with a conference call.
whats going on here is fracking insanity . simple fracking math add subtract but no multiply divide .
now the CRA wants some never here'd of that ever happening .
id get the CFSA and SISIP on a conference call ASAP if they cant sort it out id sue there buts .
CFSA is normally really good with this stuff ive found them very helpful .

Same OVO guy every time but different stories as to what went wrong. The CPA came highly recommended by my CM. Anyone else have Maddalena for a CM? She is awesome.

Re: I need help!!! ASAP
I hear you prawn. Same reason I read my cppd application every now and then put it away again in my file cabinet like I have for the last two years.
That OVO investigator of yours be the same one consistently?
Trusting this cpa you found is a sharp cookie.
Come alongside propat, what's your take. pinger.

Re: I need help!!! ASAP
I took the advice of others on this site that had not had problems. Too late to back down now.

Re: I need help!!! ASAP
This is the type of BS that keeps me from even applying for CPP(D). Why go through all the hassle, and possibly cost myself money?

ANOTHER UPDATE
Turns out the OVO guy did not know his ass from a hole in the ground. Get different stories every time I talk to him. I have now had to hire a CPA to straighten this whole thing that is FUBAR. CRA is now wanting money back, OVO is out to lunch, VAC is not budging so not a good scenario. I can't believe what I have been through in the past year with no results. Hopefully the accountants can get it straightened out and I can shove the proof that VAC screwed up where the sun don't shine.

Re: I need help!!! ASAP
Happy for you prawn. "Luckily my OVO guy used to work for VAC and knows their system"
Reminds me of the vet, vac employee, and service officer that helped me once... all in one.
Maybe that's what we all need... the right connect for our approach.
But I don't forget the v. oldtimers. They have the wisdom and experience...

UPDATE
Yesterday I finally got a call from OVO responding to my call 2 weeks ago. It finally came together. The investigator's light came on and realized what had gone wrong with this whole shit show. It looks like the Central Processing Centre input clerk did not have the info from DND pensions indicating they had recovered $6400 for the bridging portion of my pension and the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. The letters I was getting from client services the writers did not really know why this had gone so wrong they just saw the numbers from CPC and went along with that. Luckily my OVO guy used to work for VAC and knows their system and he will eventually get this mess straightened out for me. I will believe it's over when I see a deposit from VAC in my bank account.
