Are you talking about your CM or psychologist? If you are talking about your CM you do not need her approval to apply for TPI , submit the paperwork yourself and if it is your psychologist not supporting you then try your family Doctor if you have one and have not seen them already.

I'm currently on ELB and have tried employment a few times now. A Couple of months ago, my CM sent me TPI forms to give to my psychologist. I just spoke with her and she informed me that she will not support TPI and i need to get to work. My mental condition and work with my psychologist seems to be taking a back seat. Does anyone think she is stepping out of her lane when deciding if i'm ready to work again?

sounds about right TeenTitan plus they are still being slapped with a killer whale due to the Afghan status, this one conflict will make all life administratively 'Tree'd Out" and we can thank the NVC and the GOC who want to say something but can't because every line has CLASS ACTION on it, so today I shadow box tomorrow I climb in one mhn lol

Maybe VAC renamed Client Service Agents (CM assistants) to Transit Case Managers?

It's been on the books for about 15 years now that CSA's kept track of vets who did not have an active file. It was VAC's way of using bullshyte to baffle brains by keeping the veteran to CM numbers down.

So very nice I'd say, 5 th CM in 3 years and I have met 2 At least twice 1 once and the others never met is that no a servise to die for. Awesome RIP ya buggers

The CMO that is assigned to me was about to bring out my compost to the compost bin outback and I had to stop her.
No Joke, she goes above and beyond her duties.
It doesn't go unnoticed for sure.
Bigrex, treat others as you want others to treat you is my policy and your right the front line CMO have it hard, but we need to give credit where credit is due  and at least treat them with respect.
Sincere respect goes a long way

Honestly, if the CM appears to actually care for the veterans and their well being, the veterans are less likely to take their frustrations on them. I've been furious at times with VAC, but I always knew that my CM was doing everything she could to help me.

This is not the first I hear of a CM leaving DVA.

They have a job to do and whatever they are working on with any one particular Veteran , they the CM's hold a great deal of power in the deciding factor of approval.
In some cases , the full power of approval.
A good CM will explain in full detail what the requirements are in getting approved for the benefit in question.
Then the CM should follow by what protocols they are to go buy while conducting the evaluation.
If the CM sees that the Veteran is sliding away from the protocol , the CM should explain this to the Veteran.
The CM should also state after any such evaluation weather the Veteran meets the requirements or not.
This way if the Veteran is not approved , the CM can go back to what was said previously.
Or if the Veteran is not happy with what is being said even before the evaluation is completed , they can request another.

I would think that it's like any other job , some are more accepting in regards to criticism , then others.

I find that the CM's are given quota's and standards if they misrepresent the OFFICE and give out "TOO MUCH" then reprimanded they become. Try doing your job when you want to give so much more but get your feet taken out beneath you. Yes Pipes the CM's are be hit by both the vet and their office but the reason vets are singled out is because those entitlements are benefits not going to vet. I can see why they the vets become nasty.
