O - M - G!!!! That is totally unacceptable! I hope you do get the help you need at the hospital. Sending positive thoughts and hugs your way.

Re: Priority Pothole's
Sitrep: Still alive and suffering from undiagnosed PTSD or what ever. I half ripped apart my house after VAC told me to call back when I called their crisis line looking for suicide crisis management and they told me to call back in two days. I went BALLISTIC and made it to Sydney General hospital and hopefully I'll get the help I need here.
Re: Priority Pothole's
Sitrep: Sorry. I had a bad night but i'm still alive. A decision will be coming soon regarding my appeal and whether I was treated fairly during the interview process. I'll keep you posted.
Sincerely,
Pte Adams

Sitrep: I have been informed that during an appeal process the available positions remain vacant. I'd also like to report that the adviser working with PSC priorty hire is a bloody hard worker. She is prooof that the best person for these jobs ARE VETERANS

Re: Priority Pothole's
A living breathing charter the NVC is and it should help as you progress in life. (?)
Thanks for the update.
I have a friend who graduated with outstanding honours and is still seeking a job.
Frustrating as it is, he still receives ELB as he waits for a full time position.
The thing is with him is that he will not ask his CMO what happens next if he is not employed as (scheduled), or is there a time limit? May depend on the members Condition? Not sure because with VAC, there seems to be so many what ifs.

Thanks for the reply Elgin. I have suffered in silence for too many years now and this is the tipping point for me. I declare WAR!

Sorry to hear this Pte Adams. An example of a policy that looks good on paper for politicians to boast about in the media but in reality doesn't work for those it should be intended for.

Priority Pothole's
Hello Zero. This is One.
I have just gone through my first priority job referral and testing for a CR04 position at the newly reopened Veteran's office in Corner Brook, NL. I was medically released in 2006 and received a Business Management diploma in accounting during rehab. I have been working for almost two years now in administration making $13.00/hr. To make a long story short here, I didn't get the job. I am appealing the decision but the point I want to make here is that the education I received during rehab couldn't even get me a clerk job with the same organization who put me to school, Veterans Affairs. What a crock of shite.
God it feels good to get that out there.
As always I got you backs.
