Generic Drugs Empty Re: Generic Drugs

I'm just curious because it seems that VAC is trimming some benefits, like MM.

For some reason VAC is not covering the full cost of a drug I have been on for over 10 years. Almost like I'm paying an insurance deductible.

Teen wrote " Has anyone else had this happen to them over the last 3/4 months? " Not me, or ever.

2 cents though re: namebrands vs generics. Many generics have different non-active fillers and binders that can be problematic to some people.

Someone may be fine with a namebrand (usually better QC, more exp. and becoming deleted from drug plans) while the generic substitute that is covered may not be agreeable at all from ones health perspective...

Generic Drugs Empty Generic Drugs

I have been on prescription drugs for chronic pain for 8/9 years now. I have always received the name brand. Lately most drugs are being replaced with the generic brand.

Has anyone else had this happen to them over the last 3/4 months?

FYI if your pharmacy is instructed to give you the generic drug and you notice it does not work as effectively as the name brand then have the physician put "no sub" beside the drug name on the prescription note.
