Alpha-Stim® 100
As I mentioned before vet1234 my provider is Aphria and I'm more than happy with their service. They covered the cost of my cannabis even before they had the approval from VAC and they did that solely on the basis of my paperwork. Also when VAC tried, but failed in March to cut funding for my cannabis Aphria offered to cover the cost again until things with VAC were sorted out.
Incidentally, Marijuana for Trauma, my prescribing doctor and the Veterans Ombudsman Office sorted that crazy situation out for me when VAC cut my funding for my cannabis and it only took a matter of days with no appeal needed.
Pretty sure MFT does not get kickbacks from MedReleaf.

Re: Alpha-Stim® 100
back to Producers....
Just had my intake appointment this morning with Plants not Pills. Everything was set up by Marijuana For Trauma.
I need to pick a producer/supplier.... Here's where the issue is.
MFT recommended MedReleaf and even included the MedReleaf registration when I registered with MFT. I know they get kickbacks, otherwise they wouldnt be in business.
During the intake with Plants not Pills, the counsellor asked why I picked MedReleaf as my producer and suggested two other companies Aphria and Hydropothecary.... She even sent me the registration forms for both.
After looking through all 3 sites, MedReleaf seemed to have the most strains, but the counselor said they arent the best....
I really don't know what to do. Seems like everyone is just looking for a cut from their own preferred LPS!
Any help? Advice? Thoughts?

Do whatever is best for you. I know a veteran who's supplier is MedReleaf and he is happy with them.
Wishing you all the best!

Re: Alpha-Stim® 100
I just finished the paperwork, waiting for a televideo doctors appointment. I registered with Marijuana For Trauma and am going to try MedReleaf as a provider. I guess I'll see how it goes and keep Aphria in mind if I dont like MedReleaf.

Aphria, out of Leamington, Ontario I find to be a reliable and caring supplier. They covered the costs for me up front for my medical cannabis until the approval from VAC went through. They based that decision on my paperwork. Also anything ordered is delivered within 24 hours.

I can't speak for the distributors in Ontario or out west. But here in the maritimes, we only have Organigram, out of Moncton, and you get anything you order from them within 48 hours. I was worried it would take weeks, when I found out that everything had to be ordered online.

Re: Alpha-Stim® 100
Yes your K number is your 7 digit VAC number and I would suggest Aphria as a supplier because you are in Ontario.

Re: Alpha-Stim® 100
Thanks Bruce. Also, what's my K number? Is that my 7 digit file number in my VAC profile?
Any suggestions for Licensed Producers? I only know of Medreleaf..
a million questions I know. My brain doesnt work like it used to!

Ask VAC for a "summary of all your pensioned conditions" they'll know what you want. That's what they really mean to say.

Re: Alpha-Stim® 100
Has anyone ever gotten a "summary of assessment" from VAC?
what is it, and how do I get it?
apparently I need it for my application.

Re: Alpha-Stim® 100
I would prefer using oil, but I just got a new vaporizer, and it doesn't smell or taste like it did when I was using the cheap little pen, since the stuff is only being heated up without burning it. And like I just told my mother in law, who asked if it was helping, i told her that it numbs the pain, without numbing my head, like the dilaudid does. I don't know if I'll ever fully stop needing the stronger meds, but if I can save them for the really bad days, then it's better than how I've been living for the last several years.

Teentitan
VAC only pays for dried cannabis. I use cannabis mainly to treat symptoms of PTSD, but on the flip side I have a pension under the PA for both knees and feet and cannabis helps to dull the pain and doesn't zombify me like percocet did. If fact on percocet I couldn't crap right, pee right, I was dehydrated all the time and couldn't get an erection. With cannabis I have none of those problems.
