Fully agree...but Liberal promisses? Really? Anyone would fall for that again?
This should be a CLEAR message to the rest of Liberals for their next election

Re: BC Liberals promise Canadian military veterans a 50 per cent tuition rebate
I met Jim Benninger at some point in my adventure with military. Seems like decent man ... but Liberal promisses? Really? Anyone would fall for that again?
This should be a CLEAR message to the rest of Liberals for their next election.
Cheers

BC Liberals promise Canadian military veterans a 50 per cent tuition rebate
David Pugliese, Ottawa Citizen
The BC Liberal government is promising that Canadian Forces veterans will receive a 50% tuition fee rebate at post-secondary institutions in British Columbia.
The rebate is to aid in transition to civilian life. It would cover 50 per cent of tuition a veteran pays at a B.C. post-secondary institution. Among those eligible are those military members who have served in the Regular Force, Class “C” reservists who served a minimum of three years and were honorably released, and those who were medically released and unable to complete the minimum three years of service.
The KelownaNow media outlet quoted BC Liberal candidate Jim Benninger, the former base commander at CFB Comox, as stating, “This platform commitment is a small but meaningful way to show our appreciation for their service.”
The BC provincial election is May 9.
