I'm seeing that limits and total appointments depends on the province you live in. Comparing medical info with friends across the country differs so I asked Blue Cross and VAC about it and they confirmed that the province you live in and their medical plans for appointments, living aids is what you get approved for.

I get acupuncture and massage once a week. 15 sessions is the norm, but you can get special authorization from VAC for more if it helps.

Thanks Binrat. I'm gonna check out this voodoo doctor's cred's and give it a try.
At least it's healthier on my guts than all the pills.

Hey Pinger..

According to the Online Benefit grid this is what I found
http://www.veterans.gc.ca/eng/services/health/treatment-benefits/poc/poc_search/results?poc=0&prov=ON&key=Acupuncture

Basicly you can get 12 visits, but if there is improvement they can request more visits...
But it didn't say for which group, as in "A" or "B" but remember if it is a treatment for a
PENSIONED condition and you have POC 12 you should be able to get it. Tho pre-authorization is required

Does anyone know if acupuncture of all things, is covered under Programs of Choice group "A".
POC 6 medical services or POC 12 related health services?
Probably a limited amount of visits/mos. or year...?

Tx in advance
