Ok, time to end this conversation, and I would lock the thread if I could. Trump is a very divisive personality, you either love him, or you absolutely despise him. Either way, those emotions have seriously hurt the US, possibly beyond repair, for a long time. And I'm not going to allow him to infect these forums. There are plenty of other forums, from Yahoo, google, and CNN to brietbart and Fox News, where you can go testify your displeasure, or your admiration, for 45.

I grew up in the system that if one was not part of the system, then you were always guilty, if you had misfortune to be taken to a court.

outside the pain and suffering benefit a PA and NVC vet are treated roughly equal .

a PA vet with a wife and two kids @ 100% gets just over $4000.00 a month in pain and suffering benefits .

the same vet under the NVC would receive just under $1200.00 a month .

the GOC is currently trying to sell an 11-$1200.00 reduction in vets benefits as an 11-$1200.00 increase .

have you seen this covered in the Canadian press ????

Donald Trump is a moron, the last thing we need to do as the Veteran Community is to have Trump speak for us. Not to mention it would be illogical for the President of a foreign nation to wade in on another country's treatment of its veterans.

Yeah I'm with Rex on this one. DVA in America is probably worse then ours. Besides do we really want to deal with another incompetent leader to help our file?

Why exactly? Life for disabled Veterans in the US hasn't improved since Trump took office. He hasn't done anything to improve benefits. The only thing he has done, besides using Veterans as a backstop for rally's, is make it easier to fire bureaucrats at DVA. Besides, Trump is such a self absorbed Moron, that he probably doesn't even realize the Canada has a military, let alone tens of thousands of disabled Veterans.

We need the POTUS Donald J Trump to speak up for us. We need the power of his office to truly embarrass our PM into doing right by our disabled vets.  

Donald loves the soldiers. If we can get a message to him to comment on Trudeau remarks - the world is our oyster!
