Re: V.I.P Question
I'd like to remind vets, that if you move and your situation changes, for example less area needs to be cleared of snow, you have to notify VAC of those changes and your VIP could change.
It's important to remember so you don't put yourself in a situation where you could be committing fraud.

So im guessing this is a benefit that just runs until 65 or something.
There is no age limit or timeline. Just as long as you continue to meet the VIP grant requirements, you will continue to receive it.
The idea behind VIP is for Veterans to live independently in their homes for as long as possible. So if a veteran's situation changes and he or she moves into a nursing home the VIP grant will be reviewed according to the new living arrangement.

Re: V.I.P Question
Congrats Sports1977 on your VIP approval.
No you do not need to reapply next year. Your VIP grant will continue until your living situation changes. For example, if you move from a house with a large yard into an apartment, your VIP will be reviewed by your local VAC office. I moved from a 2 bedroom condo in Ottawa into a house with acres in the country and I was granted grounds maintenance and housekeeping but when I lived in my condo, I was granted housekeeping only.

Hello Everyone,
I was fortunate enough to get VIP for Ground Keeping and Home Care.
My Question is will i have to apply against next year or is this something we receive for a while?
Thank you for commenting.
