Canada Life 2 Step Verification using Chrome

Oh, still waiting for Canada Life IT department to call me...I knew I'd pay for joining so easily last year before everyone was having problems...karma

I use Chrome with my Android, and as of 829 pm (AB) it worked ok, and accepted my verification.

So I use Chrome on my PC. I've been trying for 3 weeks to figure out how to log on to Canada Life but I cannot get past the 2 Step verification.
I called 3 times for help and this is what has happened:
1. clearing browsing history does not work
2. removing and reinstalling the Canada Life page did not work
3. one of the phone calls showed the 2 Step verification DOES work using Microsoft Edge
4. the call center does not care if Chrome is not working because they got Microsoft Edge to work
5. going on 7 business days waiting for Canada Life IT department to call

My question is does anyone else using Chrome having the same problems?
I would like to know before they launch this app for your phone because if they are having trouble with Chrome I phone apps could possibly be a f'n nightmare.
