Pre Nov 99, if you were medically released, you had to apply and be accepted by SISIP, it wasn't automatic. Post Nov 99, those medically released were eligible for 2 years of SISIP pay and retraining automatically (although it sounds that may not have been the case of some). At the 18 and 24 month mark, you were assessed for continued SISIP coverage.

Could someone who understands paragraph 16 of the proposal please explain in layman's terms......in particular what relevance "POST" 30 November 1999 has on those who are deemed to qualify for ongoing LTD after the initial 24 months. And what happens to those who fall in the "PRE" 30 November 1999 date.
