I believe Rags is right, the proxies are only in play If, you were zeroed out during the initial 24 months, and the proxies were approved during the same time period. I sent an email to the lawyers to confirm this, since I am not a zero sum client and was not deemed totally disabled by SISIP after the first 24 months, but have since been approved for EELB, PIA and Supp, which is one of the proxies listed for reinstatement, but have not received a reply.
What gets me is the assumption that every zero sum client is to be treated as if they were permanently disabled the entire time. So as long as they are totally disabled now, they will get full retro, even if they've only been fully disabled for a short time. The term zero sum can be very misleading. If someone only had a 5% PA pension, but had served 20+ years, and were immediately employable upon release, those combined incomes could have zeroed out SISIP without being even moderately disabled. Now that person will be treated the same, as per the proposal, as a veteran who was released prior to getting a pension, but were zeroed out because of getting a 100% PA pension and CPP(D), and never ever return to work.

Call of Duty
No they are cut out of completely you must be a zero sum not a person who made 50 bucks and is considered non zero sum. Or th ones that got the brief from SISIP that they were going to be zero sum and get nothing and just walked away.
They are class members right now but when this settlement is accepted as is written with zero sum as a qualify for ever aspect of reassessment they are cut out. Same with the SISIP walkaways they are cut out.
They are the vest left behind they are the vets with 85% 90% or even 95% DVA and due to years of service they got all but a penny or 100 bucks clawed back. They walked away or were told to wake away or are just not zero sum now.

Old vet
Yes exactly and the GOC and SISIP ensured that all non zero sums and people who walked away from sisip are out of the settlement. They are in the class action but cut out by the current settlement. They will be millions more that SISIP will have to pay but not if they are out.

Just figured it out, SISIP is administered by the government. If all TPI clients have to re-qualify annually for benefits, guidelines could become increasingly tougher in the future. So on a going forward basis potentially the government may be able to save upwards 400 million dollars. 65 million dollars is not reasonable. How can anybody charge for work not yet completed? Will SISIP cut me a cheque pro rated until I am 65 to cover these retarded legal fees, NOT. McInnes Cooper did an amazing thing by looking out for 7500 vets, however all integrity was lost by their greed. Hell I can even get through to talk to them.

This deal is a scam for all members deemed not totally and permanently incapacitated by SISIP.
Settlement - $887.8 million
Breakdown
424.3 million retroactive + 463.5 million , projected amount for going forward payments for those who are totally and permanently incapacitated until age 65 or death.
Legal fees - 7.5%
7.5% of 424.3 million retro = 31.82 million
7.5% of 463.5 million (going forward) = 34.76 million
Lawfirm gets - Total = 66.5 million
So all those who were deemed TPI upon medical release are paying 7.5% from day one of receiving LTD until age 65 or death. Just that the Law Firm is taking the 7.5% on going forward payments now from the retro instead of monthly.
All those who are not deemed TPI are paying 7.5% on 24 months retro which comes from the 424.3 million and 7.5% from the going forward amount of 463.5 million which they are not apart of therefor are paying 15% overall from there retro and TPI members are only paying 7.5% overall. Big difference.
