Think I've had my PM ability sanctioned, probably resulting from a heated debate regarding the DM donation issue, lol! I was speaking with you in the Costco in Bayers Lake not too long ago, give me a ring at home, I'm in the phone book! Leave a contact number and I'll get back to you!

It doesn't have come close to what you made in the forces, only 75%. So if your CF pension and PA disability pension equaled 75%, or more, of your pre-release CF pay, then your SISIP benefit would cease. This sounds like the case of what happened initially, but even though you were zero summed, they kept your file active until 2003, when for some reason they closed your file. So the retro should pay until 2003, and you should have a strong case of being fully reinstated, unless there are restrictions that state you have to reside in Canada to get continued benefits.

But honestly turbo, they may have to make special arrangements for those living abroad, since banks in other countries may not accept personal cheques from Canada, so the funds may have to be sent direct deposit, or travelers cheque. Your bank would probably know the best way to send it.

They are doing the files by hand, so if your physical file has been signed out, they are likely working on your retro this month. What was the reason you no longer qualified in 2003, as it sounds like you were deemed totally disabled but zeroed out in 98.
