Re: Time after second assessment
Once they make the final assessment, they will send out a letter informing you of the decision, and a form asking how you want to receive the funds. You can either take it as a Lump sum, or as annual payments, over X number of years. Once they have that signed form in hand, it only takes a few weeks for the money to be deposited.

Here is a link to the tables used by VAC to calculate your level of impairment.

Old Army Guy,
I know with PTSD applications, you will be given an initial 10% until your PTSD condition "stabilizes". Your stabilization is based on your individual response to treatment (e.g psychologist visits, medication, and other therapies) and the time can vary from months to years.
In my case, I made an application for PTSD, the condition was granted and I was given an initial 10%. It was then four years later from the time of my initial application before my PTSD was considered stabilized by my psychologist. At that point, my psychologist completed the medical questionairee then VAC used the TOD to calculate my disability to a percentage.
All the best

Time after second assessment
Good day guys,
It’s been 15 months since my first assessment (received initial 10%) and just had my second assessment done. Any idea how long I may wait to receive payment on decision ?
