http://www.njc-cnm.gc.ca/directive/d9/en This will tell you about PHSCP.

There is also a separate dental plan you can get PDSP https://www.sunlife.ca/Canada/signin/csimember/pdsp/home?vgnLocale=en_CA

Now dependant on your VAC situation, you might be covered for some health care and dental. Talk to them and verify. Then decide if you want to pay for the other plans.

For a couple our age group it depends on the hospital coverage sought. In our case it works out to be $ 130 per month that we pay. It's well worth it given drug costs etc. Dental was not available for us.

I understand that there is supplemental medical insurance through VAC. Any idea the approx cost for a 65 year old vet returning to Canada in the near future. with 60 yrs old wife. Can you get dental. Does VAC pay any of it. I am receiving disability benefits and am declared DEC.
