I had the same thing. I got an immediate back pay of three months worth of the pfl to April. The monthly amount starts this month. I elected for a payout as well. I am receiving my payout amount minus the money I already received. That might be what is going on with you 2truck

I do not know if I am the only one having this problem or VAC is trying to screw everyone who is now getting a Pain and Suffering award.
Maybe it's just me.
Anyways, I won a claim. So VAC gives me a monthly amount under PFL.
I didn't want that so I elected for a lump sum.
So I get the payment. I read the payment letter.
They took my award and then reduced it by 2% of a award I received under the NVC. I don't know why they did that but it didn't matter because they raised my award to the nearest 5 % interval. And when the NVC 2% was deducted I was still within the same
5% interval.
But they did a calculation of my 23% instead of paying me the 25% as per Schedule 3 of the Wellbeing Act!
23% to 27% get 25%. It's in the Act FFS!
I am currently calling them out on this.
Check your numbers guys!
I'll let you know how I make out.
