Re: Zero Sum 24 Months only
Why are the non TPI clients not commenting on having to pay an extra 7.5% in legal fees? Peter said himself that the Law Firm is requesting the 7.5% fee for going forward payments come from the retro with the 7.5% for the retro which is a total of 15% instead of taking the 7.5% going forward out monthly to age 65. So non TPI are paying and extra 7.5%. I suggest that all non TPI reject this deal.

What I am saying is non TPI are paying legal fees for payments after 24 months to age 65 and will never receive any money past 24 months.

Re: Zero Sum 24 Months only
Personally I don't think that "future amounts" should have been included as part of the settlement, since it really benefits only a portion of the current class. Especially since the number of Veterans taking advantage of this will increase every year once still serving members get medically released.

Re: Zero Sum 24 Months only
Who here is a zero sum and is only getting 24 months retro because they are not deemed totally and permanently incapacitated? Those that are , are paying 7.5% for legal fees for money after 24 months to age 65 that they will not receive because they are not TPI , from their retro as well as the 7.5% to get the retro for a total of 15%. We should only pay 7.5% if we are not TPI. Look closely at what is being said in the agreement and what Peter has said
