By law it is required that if your financial circumstances change within 60 days of signing the proposal, you are to contact the Trustee regardng changes in your financial situation. If its after 60 days, your good to go. No worries, continue your regular payments and legally, you do not have to disclose the funds you recieved or receiving.

Yes it's a consumer proposal so I could keep my house but it's the same effect as a bankruptcy

I have made a bankruptcy, and I have a deal with all my creditors and I payed them for the last 3 years and still have 2 year to go. The thing is I would'nt have maid a bankruptcy if I had my retro during that period. As long as I pay them what was in the contract when I accepted their deal, they can't do or say anything about what I might have in the future.

Depending on when you were discharged. If you are still in bankruptcy or creditors realize that your money was retro-active throughout a bankruptcy ,chances are!!!!

I like some of you have gone bankrupt because of the clawbacks. My HUGE concern is that the GOC will take back ALL the money owed in the bankruptcy from the Retro Return. Does anybody know anything about this foreseable problem? Or is it not a concern? I would hate to get my hopes up of getting retro only for it to be taken from me again.
