MCINNIS / COOPER SHOULD BE LOOKING FOR THE OTHER 5000 MEMBERS NOT IN THE DATA BASE THROUGH " CTV NATIONAL NEWS " WHILE WAITING FOR JUSTICE BARNES DECISION , CONTINGENCY PLAN MC , WHAT ARE YOU DOING RIGHT NOW , TO FIND THESE SOLDIERS ?

It is very frustrating reading all of the posts and knowing that our legal team has to our knowledge done nothing since February 15th except patiently waiting for their millions to start coming in. Personally I believe we all should file a compliant to the Canadian Bar Society against our so called lawyers for breach of trust. If all who feel that they have been misrepresented by the current legal team perhaps it is time for all of us to stop writing here and filing our complaints and requesting that the current lawyers be removed and replaced with a trustee or the like because we have lost confidence in their ability to properly represent the class. It is so ridiculous that these guys are not providing any kind of an update and in the mean time many on here seem to be getting far worse with the stresses being placed on them. It is no use trying to continue to work with these guys because if one thing has been proven they have no empathy for us, they just want he big pay day!

Can anyone comprehend what it would take to do this , & who can make it happen , because we obviously cannot count on McInnis / Cooper when they're not even returning calls .

WHO are the POWERS TO BE , that can raise eyebrows accross the Nation , & bring the other 5000 vets out of the woodwork ?

Recon, as good as that would be, probably a very small percent of the class members actually watch CTV news. We need to have commercials aired on every Canadian network, several times per night. The Tories need to spend a fraction of the money spent on advertising their Economic Action Con Job, and get the word out NOW!

I've said before that somebody needs to be getting the word out on TV and radio. I also know that VAC has the current contact info for each and every class member, they just don't know who they are. It's simple to find those who were released after inclusion in SISIP was mandatory, but before that, VAC will not know who had opted out or not, so the easiest thing would be for VAC needs to mail out some sort of notice to each and every client they have informing them of the lawsuit. I know when I see a brown envelope from VAC in the mailbox, it gets opened and read before any of my other mail, so I suspect that nobody will any notice sent out in such a manner.

Good idea trooper, will do. Yes, Peter Stoffer is a good man and an advocate for Veterans and the military. Too few of them unfortunately.

I would just like to let you know that Federal NDP Critic for Veterans Affairs, Mr. Peter Stoffer called a bit ago what an Advocate like Veterans so, so, so, badly needed for so long. the conversation WAS EXCELLENT and WAS SO very greatly appreciated on a Saturday, Mr. Stoffer, Sir, Thank You. So... STELLAR, MARCHING FORWARD I AM CERTAIN.

trooper you are right and i fully understand but the deal the GOC negotiated is published yet not accepted yet and this needs to be passed through a couple of hands to be at a meeting tuesday ore wendsday this week.

What I was trying to suggest was that if the opposition stands now , the conservatives will simply say, Mr. speaker, the honorable justice Barnes is reviewing this matter and we wait his decision.
