I am confused now.

When I was released back in 2001 I was approved by SISIP to go to college and with the college degree I was doing I had 2 paid 4 months each of CO-OPS and for every month I was working for my CO-OP I gave SISIP my pay record so they could calcuate the deductions of what they were to give me as I knew they would take 50% of each dollar so it only went up to the 75% top up. And during those 8 months of when I did the CO-OP I really got nothing from them due to my military pension and my paycheck was over the 75%

Am I to understand that now they are going to take the other 50%??? My cheque is already not going to be big due to not having a big % from VAC but now it sounds like I may OWE SISIP

trooper thanks but im not sure i want to do that yet as although it was claimed it was not claimed as income but something else like lump sum payment forget exactly what.so they may not know they can try and steal more and i dont want to give them the heads up.

propat, I would contact sisip and explain that to them.

Retention period: ROEs are retained for a period of 10 years as per the Access to Information Guidelines and Infosource. Beyond 10 years, these records are purged and destroyed and therefore they will no longer be available.

here is a question i recived two cheques after i was released one almoast a year after and one almoast two years after both for arround 10k.now these were erned prior to realese so after a fight they will lose but will these guys actually try to deduct this in hopes i just might quiety go away and be happy with what i got.they must have hered a lot of people say and some here even that something is better than nothing.hmmmm

Big Rex, this doesn't affect me but this is horse shit! 100 percent deduction, boy , alot of deductions , I bet alot of people are redoing their calculations!

Where was that post that had the info on recovering your records of employment?

That's gonna be a VERY important place in the near future if SISIP is totalling and dividing by 12.

I KNEW they were gonna pull that, I even spoke to Peter about it SPECIFICALLY. And I have posted about it here a time or two.

Thanks for clarifying that bigrex, we do not want people to think that they will only deduct 50%, only unless they were in rehab, they will deduct 50%.
