4 month retro/intrest

I believe there is less than 300 that were reinstated, I may be incorrect, but remember hearing that

Another note on this 4 Months, it will come from manulife, with no Legal fees applied.

Those that were reinstated June July August, and September of 2012.

Some info about the 4 months owed I have been told the checks are ready and will be sent out to each client by the end of the year.

I know you are worried about the taxes Nav but if the October meeting with MC and DoJ in front of Justice Barnes about the Cola being applied to the "net" instead of the "gross" and MC wins the argument that money will come in 2014 with another worksheet and another lawyers bill and another T4A from Manulife. So this year or next year Nav extra taxes for the next two years for us all.

As the four months in question are part of the settlement are they not affected by the October deadline?

they are listed as going forward funds unaffected by legal fees but listed in the settlement docs none the less?

What's nice is MC did give us a sheet to indicate what line on your return you put your legal fees and also since I have the DTC I get the 5000 dollar first time homebuyers tax credit, we close on 28 Nov , so maybe I might make it but I did hire an accountant because this year I want every deduction I can find

For me Navrat, I would prefer to get it all done this calendar year, reason being is that with the 30% tax withhold from the retro, and being able to claim the Legal fees, and another 20% withheld for the four Months, in my situation I think that I will get a fair return for my 2013 tax year, but yes I hear you, every person is different when it comes to their taxes.

Walking dead is already loaded for record in my pvr, and as much as I want my 4 months, I really wish we had a choice and could get it issued 1 jan 2014, it would save us alot of tax

Navrat, the last I heard was that once all the initial members have been paid end Oct, manulife will send us the four Months, and it will be before the end of this year.
