4 month retro/intrest

I heard they were getting a special 18 wheeler for Purolator to carry Sapper's cheque in...like one of those huge novelty cheques, except Sapper will be allowed to cash his.

Really, that sisip file belongs to you, How can they not give what is yours? The things sisip does just makes your mind rot, really! And Sapper don't worry I heard Manulife bought stock in bic pens, probably because they need a shit load of them to write your cheque!

Sapper, you can ask for a copy of your file after you are paid.
I already called SISIP this week about this and she told me that I am allowed to it but only after being paid.

I'm right there with ya oldvet...soon we shall get our long awaited retro. And I also worked part-time here and there. Was never worried about sisip because they weren't paying me anything. Now I am kind of worried though. I never kept track of all the part time jobs etc. No way to check the accounting at sisip when they issue the cheque.

There might be some sort of adjudication in regard to the "cola"...and most likely SISIP will wait until all present class members are paid...it would be a little odd if they made us wait until absolutely everyone received their retro. Hope that helps.

Is SISIP waiting for all of the reinstated members to be paid out (minus the four months) or/and

all the members from 1976 to present, and as some still have to wait through the adjudication process..?

Only makes sense to hold onto those cheques till everyone gets their retro I belive it is not to bring more confusion to the fold since this whole thing has been a cluster, as far as MC not knowing about money from other sourses that is hard to believe as well.

I don't know Nav and MC advised they are not involved with those cheques and to call Manulife.

I am wondering because alot of us have already received our retro and it's been longer than a couple of weeks, maybe sisip is holding off until the end?

Received update from Dan Wallace reference the four month cheque owed by Sisip.
Advised that they will be paid directly from Manulife without legal fees.
It is believed that Manulife will send the cheque a couple of weeks after their main cheque is sent however, MC advised to contact Manulife directly as they are not involved in that part of the settlement process..
