4 month retro/intrest

It would be nice to have it Direct Deposit. Just not sure, in which manner they will issue them.

actually, the only members getting those 4 months are the ones who were reinstated, and since it is coming directly from SISIP, there is no reason not to just deposit it into your accounts if you already have it set up.

I am guessing by mail due to the fact that not all class members are on LTD.

Will those 4 month retro cheques be mailed or direct deposited?

So two cheques, one for the 4 Months, and one for the interest ?

OK just finished a double confirmation and this is the information about the 4 months LTD owed from 2012

SISIP concentrated on getting the court ordered retro checks out. Now that they are done SISIP is now concentrating on the 4 months owed. We can expect to see this check in 4-6 weeks. You should also expect a check for the applicable interest.

So some of us now have the Christmas money for our families!

For those of us that are going to receive the 4 Months back pay, some members have stated that they would rather receive it in 2014. I would like to receive it within this year 2013. The reason I say this, is simply that I want to get all of the retro refund in the one calender year, so to only deal with it once with respect the added income for tax purposes. As everyone's tax situation varies from one to the other, some may benefit more if received in 2014, however it sure sounds like we will all get it this year.
