4 month retro/intrest

6 weeks from today is December trooper...great post from recon though huh?

I have just changed my prediction to within 4 to 6 Weeks from today, as per Recon's post.

I agree with you trooper...just in time for next years taxes.

I predict that we will receive the 4 Months this December.

Crazy is their middle name...SISIP "Crazy" Douchebags. Maybe this whole delay in payments was by design of the conservative government, to get our tax rates up to the point where they'd be getting at least half of it back.

That would be crazy if no interest was applied, and it am wondering how this 4 month retro will be structured as in since it was meant and from the 2012 tax year, should we not be able to claim that for that tax year and not throw everything into this year. When I talked to sisip yesterday they said everything is getting back to normal there and these payments will be issued shortly

Exactly...whenever they decide to release them. Supposedly though, these cheque had already been done prior to the retro, so whatever they added was back then. Maybe what they did was calculate interest up to Oct. 15th and pre-added it...we'll see.

True...when you owe them money, there's no waiting and no exceptions.

Simple interest if any, nothing stated in the settlement, it will be a wait an see when it happens.

 If the thong was on the other foot, we would have received more than a dozen compounding 'amount due' notices.

From what I was told, it would fall inline with what teen is stating...but as always that's subject to change.

PD...there will be some sort of interest involved I'm sure, as with any amount reinstated from SISIP. Although, for the 4 months, it really wouldn't amount to much, so it's nothing to get your thong in a bunch about.

After reading the court order (again), the missing months are gaining 0% interest after waiting over an entire year and counting...

In section 6 (d) it does not state the interest rate for the missing four months as the missing funds will not be sent through the law firm,

nor does it state any time line for paying those funds out..

Does anyone see this as any different than what I have observed

That's what I have been told a few times. Retro first then the 4 months backpay. So hopefully we get it by the end of the month or sometime early in November.

I was told by my cm at sisip that after the 17 of Oct but at this point I don't know who to believe

Anyone know anything?

My spouse works so this is why I am worried about taxes!
