Correct,Nemo, it's the GOC way of reducing yearly by way of inflation the amount it pays to all pensioners.

Unfortunately, the figure that the fed govt used to increase our pensions is way out of whack. If u go back 20 years, pensions for military have increased by about 30%. But actual cost of living has gone up at least 100% if not more.
